What are you most looking forward to in fellowship?

I’m looking forward to working with a great team of pediatricians, nurses, social work, and other staff that make this field possible.

What do you love most about Chicago?

I love the diversity of the city apparent in its residents, restaurants, and festivals.

What do you do for fun or to relax?

I like exploring different restaurants, reading, playing games, spending time outdoor and cooking to name a few things.

What advice would you give a resident considering joining the field of child abuse pediatrics?

Find someone in the field and let them know you have an interest. The community is fairly small compared to other subspecialties and those in it are more than happy to share their interests and passions with others. They would be a great support person through the process of determining if this field is for you and can help you connect to other people and resources along the way.

What are you most looking forward to in fellowship?

I am looking to learn how to advocate for children, as well as how to turn research into meaningful impact of the world around me.

What do you love most about Chicago?

I am excited about all the Chicago food, art, and architecture, living in a big city for the first time and getting to know new patient populations.

I am a native New-Englander who loves traveling, everything creative (art, DIY, cooking, etc.) and using any events as an excuse to make a charcuterie board.
